Photojournalist and civil rights photographer, Flip Schulke, personally gave me permission to use his photos. I personally called him and asked him for permission to use his images, which he approved. I worked on the MLK Celebration posters for 12 years and every year, Flip would send me a high resolution digital image of his photography.
He has the best collection of civil rights photos and it was an honor to work with him. He personally knew and worked with Dr. King.
