A year-end publication celebrating the accomplishments, experiences,
and contributions of Student Recreation student employees. I combined photography, page layout, typography, graphic design, and visual storytelling to create a publication that captured the spirit of the RECademy experience.

Front cover jacket design for perfect bound book about the history of Western Michigan University.
“Brown and Golden Memories,” is a perfect bound book celebrating the first 100 years of Western Michigan University. It was designed for our Centennial Celebration. Written by historian, Larry Massie. He selected many photos, but I also added additional ones of the chapter headings. The design comes from the large windows of East Hall (now called Heritage Hall). The additional photos appear in the window panes representing a looking-glass effect or kaleidoscope of stories that takes the reader on a journey with the images.
